A post-industrial Manchester classic
JW Lees Manchester Pale Ale is a well-balanced, refreshing golden beer made entirely from all-British malt, Liberty, and Mount Hood hops. Vibrant citrus notes and fruity undertones complement its maltiness. With its distinctive tight, creamy head, it’s a proper Manchester beer.
THE STORY OF MPA...
To Mancunians of a certain age, Tony Wilson, AKA Mr Manchester, was a committed northerner, loudmouth, broadcasting revolutionary and music mogul. Those in the know, know that without Wilson, we wouldn’t have had Factory Records and Joy Division, New Order or the Happy Mondays. We certainly wouldn’t have the post-industrial Manchester we know today. Tony, once said: “This is Manchester, we do things differently here”. And he was right.
Our refreshingly Mancunian pale ale gives ale lovers a similar hop-packed offering to its American cousins but with a British twist: a Mancunian twist. It’s a post-industrial Manchester classic. Like Tony Wilson, we are so proud of Manchester, that we put it in the name.
